We start every project with a working model which offers an insight into the design. A model makes two- and three-dimensional sketches concrete and always reveals the true nature of any design. We use models throughout the design process to test and show how the spatial consequences of both minimal and more extensive modifications work in “the real world”.

Een maquette maakt twee- en driedimensionale schetsen tastbaar en spreekt altijd de waarheid. We gebruiken de maquette in het ontwerpproces om de ruimtelijke werking van kleine en grote ingrepen ‘life’ te testen en te laten zien.
