studio bazar, utrechtsestraat

With Studio Bazar, the trick is to display as many things as possible without it looking cluttered. Special furniture, shelving and wall units were designed for all three Amsterdam shops to present the colourful collection clearly and attractively. For the shop housed in the Jugendstil building on the corner of Utrechtsestraat and Keizersgracht, moveable formica elements in bright colours provided a solution. The counter is located in front of the window to free the walls for product display. A click-on system of white boxes with integrated lighting can be arrayed against the mustard-green back wall in different ways. This means that the shelving can be changed easily to accommodate the various products. The outside of the building has been repainted in the original colour scheme.

[tekst_en] => The aim was to create a 1000 m2 culinary paradise for Studio Bazar in Amsterdam’s Kauwgomballenfabriek (former chewing-gum factory). With some sweeping changes and a few simple but effective touches, the bare shell was converted into a cool warehouse complete with a cooking studio and brasserie. Metal shelving, long strip lights, no-nonsense mdf furniture and a concrete floor add to the industrial style of the old factory. Apart from one red wall, the walls and furniture are all painted white as a subtle backdrop to a colourful collection of goods. Fun decor accents which counteract the bare-bones style are the specially designed round strip lights and giant stainless steel rack wherein pans hang suspended across the ceiling in a decorative pattern.  [section] => [description] => With Studio Bazar, the trick is to display as many things as possible without it looking cluttered.
